My name is Jess or Naturalistic and my artwork can be described as a composition of the human experience. It travels through emotions such as love, happiness, confusion, sadness, sexuality, and more. Oil paint is my go to medium but I have also been know to use oil pastels, chalk, acrylic and pretty much anything thing else.Third Friday: June 21st

Golden Belt celebrates 5yrs!
Golden Belt Summer Concert Series presents Kim Arrington
Kim sang publicly at 4 years old. By 7 years old, Kim was writing her own songs. Since then, Kim serves as a bandleader, songwriter, producer, and sings soul, jazz, and funk every chance she gets. In May 2008, she released her debut CD of soul music, First Love Note of Kim Arrington, which United Kingdom-based Soul Brother Records described as, “Very good, lyrically-strong, independent soul album featuring real instruments from Kim Arrington, who possesses a really strong, unique voice.” Kim has sung for tens of thousands in the United States, Italy, Switzerland, England, France, Austria, and Germany. Kim’s sophomore CD, Getting II Yes, will be released in August 2013.
Information about the Concerts:
Concerts start at 6 PM and will be held in Golden Belt’s front parking lot, 807 East Main Street, Durham. Free parking is available in the back parking lot (please park only in unmarked spaces). Golden Belt is stop 16 on the Bull City Connector, the fare-free bus that connects Ninth Street, Duke University and downtown, to Golden Belt. NCCU students and faculty can ride Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) Route 5 buses to downtown, for free, by showing valid university I.D.
