Third Friday, February 17 th, 6pm-9pm

“Show Us Your Heart” Art Show and Sale

“Show Us Your Heart” Art Show & Sale, a benefit for the David Turner Lymphoma Foundation brings together a diverse group of people – non-profit volunteers, artists, transplant survivors, families, students, educators, business leaders, and more. The aggregate of tiny donated artwork gives a peek inside the big heart of the Triangle, creating a beautiful mosaic with a message worth hearing.

All of the small canvases (4” x 4”/6” x 6”) will be given out according to a two tier system.

Tier 1: For each $20 donation, the donor receives a random number that is assigned to one of the canvases which he/she then receives.

Tier 2: For each $50 donation, the donor may pick any available canvas.

All proceeds of this benefit will provide arts’ experiences for those isolated in stem cell transplant units at Duke and UNC hospitals. More information about the arts in healthcare can be found at thesah.org. To learn more about the work of this local nonprofit, go to bigdavesbiggift.org.

Spot the Dot

We have fine tuned the meet and greet concept to “Spot the Dot.”  If you see an artist’s work that intrigues you, and you would like to ask them questions about their process or get an idea of what they were thinking, simply look for a colored shape on the wall and then find the matching shape on the artist!

Jason Salemme Brings His Homebrew Back This Third Friday!

Vanilla Porter (5.7% ABV; 24 IBUs)
This is my standard porter with bourbon vanilla beans added during a secondary fermentation.  You will notice the nice vanilla aroma before you take your first sip, enjoy the clean and smooth malt profile as you drink, and the vanilla flavor linger after you have enjoyed it.
Labour of Summer’s Love Hefeweizen (6.5% ABV; 21 IBUs)
This Hefeweizen is brewed with pineapple and creates a nice tropical twist to the German ale.  Named in honor of LaborLove Gallery this is a perfect thirst quencher no matter what time of the year.Hefe-Brown (5.75% ABV; 14 IBUs)
This ale is a hybrid of styles to highlight various wheat and malt flavor profiles.  It is brewed with just enough mild hops to balance the malt sweetness.Event Details:
