Renata McConnell’s art is inspired by nature, energy and dreams; she began painting after a series of dreams and visions of painted canvases. Now she is an abstract expressionist and Energy Art painter, driven to create not only what she sees, but also what she feels. In each piece, she strives to remain true to the subtle vibrations that she feels. Renata creates with watercolor, acrylics, oils and mixed media. Her art can be light and energetic or deep, intuitive and meaningful. Her works are often noted for their unique style and technique.

Another major aspect of Renata’s life is The Peru Project, a nonprofit organization founded with her daughter to build a library and community center in Huaripampa, Peru.
