Friday, December 18th, 6-9 pm

This third friday LabourLove will present the work of photgrapher Daniel Pesta in The Cotton Room on the 3rd floor of Building 2 at Golden Belt .

Daniel Pesta recently moved to North Carolina with his family from Michigan. He began exploring his new surroundings through the lens of his camera resulting in a beautiful and serine collection of work. Daniel states, “this is a personal exploration of my surroundings in various places. I’ve challenged myself to find beauty no matter where I am. These photos are my way to get acquainted with my new home in North Carolina.” In addition to his fine art photgraphy, Daniel Pesta is a one of the area’s premier event photographers. Visit him at http://danieljpesta.com to see his incredible portfolio.

These pieces make wonderful holiday gifts for the one you love or for yourself! Each photograph is printed using Canon Fine Art Matte Paper in an extremely limted edition of ten. The soft finish complements Daniel’s “Time” series beautifully. These prints will sell out fast, so come early!

Do not miss this third friday with The Cotton Room, LabourLove Gallery and The Artist Studio’s in building 3. Food and drink will be available.

LabourLove Gallery will have a booth with our Giclee Prints, T-shirts and pillows. Kelly will also add some small paintings to the mix that make great gifts for the Holidays! Come support LabourLove @ Rock & Shop this Saturday!

The Rock & Shop Market is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience; an indoor fashion, art & music flea market featuring emerging, independent local and national designers selling their wares plus live music by local performers.

Started in 2004 by Michelle Smith, a local designer and online boutique owner, Michelle wanted to create a local market that would help support and celebrate the burgeoning indie arts scene of professional designers, artists and musicians in the Triangle and beyond. In 2008, Regan Wood, a jewelry designer, came on board to help produce the event. Collectively, they are known as sprout & flourish and, in addition to producing The Rock & Shop Market events they offer creative design & marketing services to boutique and emerging businesses.
