Third Friday at LabourLove – August

Enjoy the festivities at Golden Belt tomorrow night!

Kelly Dew

Owner, Kelly Dew, is showing her collection of figurative work during August. The work goes from very personal pieces with her relationship with her mother to a light hearted take on sexual tension. Three limited edition prints and t-shirt designs were created from the series, and are for sale in the gallery.

Wendy Kowalski

Wendy Kowalski will be at the gallery to meet you, and discuss her work.  Wendy is a former Durhamite who now resides in Wilmington.  She has exhibited all over North Carolina, and we’re proud to have four of her pieces in our gallery.  A limited edition print and t-shirt design were created from two of her paintings, and are also for sale.

Holly Aiken Handbags come to Durham!

LabourLove is also now the only place in Durham to get your hands on a Holly Aiken handbag.  Holly is one of our favorite designers.  Her bags are full of color, super durable, and made locally.  And for all you Dukies, we’ve got ‘em in blue and white just in time for the fall semester.
